After the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on Monday, May 1st, Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir got into an argument. In the field full of audience, these legends were seen having a vocal fight. In the viral video, it can be easily seen that the two players get into a fight over some issue. After the handshake between the players, Gambhir walked toward Kohli, who was explaining something to the coach of the Lucknow team. Other players were also present there. Gambhir seemed angry over something.

Kohli was taken away from Gambhir by LSG coach Vijay Dahiya and captain KL Rahul. However, the match was won by Royal Challengers Bangalore by 18 runs. RCB decided to bat first and secured a score of 126/9 on the board. Kohli made 31 and was important in the victory. Rest he was also supported by Faf du Plessis, who earned 44 points off of 40.

The remaining batsmen were all unable to get above 20 runs. They showed a really bad performance. It didn't seem like the amount would be sufficient to win the match at the midway point. But from ball 1, the RCB bowlers bowled flawlessly and kept their team in the Game.
In the first over, only Mohammed Siraj took Kyle Mayers's wicket. Other players like Aayush Badoni, Krunal Pandya, Deepak Hooda, and Nicholas Pooran also lost their wickets easily around 38/5 in just seven overs. This took Lucknow Super Giant to the depth. However, Marcus Stoinis performed his best to bring the team back into the game, but even he lost his wicket for 13 runs in the 11th over. But with the loss of Krishnappa Gowtham's wicket, LSG lost their Game.

Marcus Stoinis tried to bring the home team back into the game but got dismissed for 13 in the 11th over. The wicket of Krishnappa Gowtham in the next over ended LSG's chase. KL Rahul's hamstring injury after playing on the field prevented him from starting the innings. He overcame the wound and stepped up to the plate at position 11. On the three balls he faced, he was unable to run and was unsuccessful in scoring.

Following this loss, LSG has risen to the third position on the board, while RCB has fallen to the fifth position.
