Twitter Employees receive an email from CEO Elon Musk at 2 AM, “Office is not Optional”

Twitter’s CEO Elon Musk chooses 2:30 AM as the perfect time to inform his employees about Twitter’s policy of Working from home. In the early hours of Wednesday, the employees received an email regarding their remote working policy.

According to Fortune Magazine, Mr. Elon Musk wrote an email “Office is not Optional” and sent it to his staff at 2:30 am. After this, the Platformer Managing Editor Zo Schiffer tweeted detailed information about the message. He stated that the organization's San Francisco offices were half empty a day before. However, it might be because he has fired thousands of employees within the last few days.

Furthermore, according to reports, this is not the first time when such an incident has occurred. Elon Musk emails his employees at night, every now and then to inform them about the office's new terms, conditions & policies. Mr. Musk always mentions that Twitter employees' world must be extremely hardworking and dedicated toward the company. Moreover, he also encourages them to perform their best. 

Before the acquisition, by Mr. Musk, Twitter had a flexible arrangement for remote work, but now the new CEO is modifying all the policies and arrangements. In the month of November, he also made it mandatory for the workers to work for a minimum of 40 hours per week. Last year, this same policy was sent to Tesla employees as well, in which he stated, "if you don't show up in the office, we will assume you have resigned".
